The champion enters as the betting underdog, with +125 money line odds. Meanwhile, the legendary Pacquiao is a -155 favorite. Can the 40-year-old take the title from Thurman and hand the 30-year-old his first career loss, or will Thurman retain and make it a perfect (30-0-0)?
In UFC, Rafael Dos Anjos headlines this weekend’s show in San Antonio, Texas, against Leon Edwards. The much-younger Edwards is the slight betting favorite at -130. Two matches before the main event, the hotly-anticipated bout between Juan Adams and Greg Hardy. Adams has been desperate to destroy Hardy for quite some time (thanks to Hardy’s history of domestic violence), and he’ll have a chance to try and do just that Saturday night. Both fighters enter the bout with matching -115 odds.
The proposed (and heavily-memed) raid on Area 51 is supposedly happening on September 20, 2019. There are four available wagers on this raid, all of which we break down. The first, and most obvious, is whether or not there will even be a raid of Area 51. Beyond that, available bets include whether or not raiders would find aliens during the event, and two prop bets tied to President Donald Trump.
Will the President tweet about Area 51 at any point before the end of September? A successful “Yes” bet pays out at +260 odds. If you want to get more specific with the type of tweet, you can bet that Trump will or won’t send out a tweet specifically warning people to not raid Area 51. A “Yes” bet pays off at +300 if Trump sends such a tweet.
This weekend, the NASCAR Monster Energy Series heads to New Hampshire. The 301-mile race follows an incredibly entertaining finish to last week’s contest in Kentucky, where the Busch brothers battled until the very last moment.
